"Martinus Cosmology". Russell Cosmogony. No sects, gurus, moneys apparatus nor blind faiths ... Please google or youtube both. I first saw him at Carnegie hall many years ago or was it yesterday? Just him sitting there in that little chair and us watching his energy fill the room was the demonstration I expected. Many people do that but his degree of profound lightness of being was extraordinary. I don't remember a word he said nor care to. It was the early seventies and many of his books could be found in the"occult" section. I objected to that then but now smile at it. When K demonstrates, if you go along with him, that the universe is correcting itself, that experience resolves all distortion. As it does that moment to moment with no plan other than to correct itself over and over each time from the new pattern of the last correction. All unknown to itself as each new pattern entails a new correction. Negative thinking he once called it. Negate the false and live what is left. So yes the truth is a pathless land. K always warned not to get hung up on the word as it is never the thing. K always warns about juggling people in your mind as a personal or collective endeavor. They are the same. The mind has no need to function there. Jung warns that the collective unconscious is unstable. K knew it is the problem itself and no different in essence than the conscious. K 's most important contribution I think is the "eagle" the first step. The cleansing of the lens. To observe without any attempt at correction. Only then can one take the journey. As the greatest Yogi of all time said: " Ya can observe a lot by just watchin"- Yogi Berra

Peace
Carmine- Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2986219271477876613.post-72826906111322209472017-09-17T15:43:27.432-04:002017-09-17T15:43:27.432-04:00A thought came through my head to combine their na...A thought came through my head to combine their names and voila!
Another sign of synchronicity, I am 25y.o. I believe he wanted the attention to be so aware that it would move to an almost mystic/non-egoic/non-dualistic approach. I think Jung's individuation is indeed about discovering your sense of Self, but he advocates delving into dreams and the subconscious which overlaps with K's approach....Elizabeth Springhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16913744861377073587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2986219271477876613.post-58836079452743799032015-12-27T19:42:34.193-05:002015-12-27T19:42:34.193-05:00They are a good study because one is a Western Eur...They are a good study because one is a Western European mind and one from the East.
Both distinctly different approaches to what it means to be fully human. Jung and Krishnamurti. We Jungians are said to "be in love with the unconscious". In listening to "K" speak, I do not feel he is concerned with this territory at all. He encourages a "listless attention" the goal being a non- ego position. Jung encourages the individual.
Both honor "the creative". I have spent many years trying to discover my own sense of Self and letting go of that knowledge would be of no interest to me. Although I read K in the 70s, the resonance wasn't there. But in recent years I decided to approach him again by first reading as much as I could about his life (biographies by Lutyens and Vernon particularly). Knowing him as a person somehow allows the teachings, especially those in his journals, to sink in and find those places in me that understand. So … best wishes to you in this unique and wonderful undertaking!
David Dohrmann Mary & David Dohrmannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09340678453901674638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2986219271477876613.post-60419331430615348782013-04-14T20:40:49.564-04:002013-04-14T20:40:49.564-04:00"I don't believe, I know"-that's..."I don't believe, I know"-that's what I say too!
